ROOTS IN THE HILLS
Errl Hill was born where the redwoods meet the fog in Humboldt County. Long before the logo or the trophies, it started as jars of flower turned into golden oil in garages and farm sheds. The name came naturally: “Errl” meant oil, and “Hill” represented the Humboldt hills that raised it.
SINGLE-SOURCE HUSTLE
Founder Scott Harris and co-owner Harry built Errl Hill with a farmer-first vision. Every jar comes from plants Scott personally cultivated, grown on family land and processed entirely in-house. There are no middlemen or mystery sources—just Humboldt resin from stalk to stash.
HASH OVER HYPE
From the beginning, Errl Hill prioritized flavor over inflated numbers. Their runs explored every format—live resin, live rosin, and fresh press—while keeping their mantra constant: “We work so you can terp.”
GRANNY CANDY LEGACY
In 2021, the Fire Mountain crew partnered with Humboldt Seed Company for a pheno hunt that unearthed Granny Candy #65. The cut transitioned from hillside discovery to statewide drops, cementing the idea that Errl Hill’s farming bred culture as much as it did hash.
CUPS & CLOUT
Errl Hill quickly stacked plaques at the Farmers Cup: Highest Terpenes for Forbidden Cookies, Best Flavor for Hella Jelly, and Second Place Solvent Dabs with Crème Brulee. These terp trophies spoke for themselves—Errl Hill was not chasing hype; hype was chasing them. Their collection of wins dates back to 2015.
JAR TO PEN
Errl Hill adapted across lanes without losing its identity. Live resin jars evolved into All-in-Ones like Sherbert Cream Pie. Collaborations with DNA Genetics on Ztrawberriez expanded their reach, while their Terp Stash Tech online tracker educated consumers on the true meaning of flavor.
FROM HILLS TO THE BAY
What began in Arcata and Eureka expanded to shelves across San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and Oakland. Retailers such as Flore, Bright Spot, and Mocha in Humboldt, as well as Dr. Greenthumb’s in La Mesa, carried Errl Hill resin without diluting the Humboldt story.
STYLE OF ITS OWN
Errl Hill avoided the candy-colored packaging trends and sterile laboratory imagery. Instead, their look and ethos remained authentic: farm, freezer, press. The slogan “Make Hash Not War” is more than a tagline—it reflects their lived philosophy. Every run is crafted with precision and passion.
INFLUENCE CARVED IN RESIN
In a market often plagued by inflated THC numbers and outsourced oil, Errl Hill has secured its own lane. Their focus on single-source production, terpene-forward profiles, and Humboldt authenticity means they are not just selling hash, they are safeguarding what Humboldt built.
