For over 25 years, Will Ardz has been quietly perfecting his craft. Born in the Bay and raised in Sonoma County from age 13, Ardz (Zack) came of age during California’s Prop 215 era, learning to cultivate alongside family. His mission never wavered: to grow clean, resin-rich plants using natural systems built for solventless extraction.

Second-Generation Roots and Living Soil Innovation
Ardz’s approach blends tradition with innovation. His farms operate on no-till beds enriched by cover crops and vegan, fungally dominant compost. Compost teas, brewed through Synergy Agricultural Products where he serves as VP—fuel soil fertility. Flower is frozen within 45 minutes of harvest to preserve terpene and resin profiles. No curing. No flushing. Everything is cultivated specifically for solventless hashmaking.

The Grape Gas Era
In 2020, Ardz secured the coveted Grape Gas cut (Grape Pie × Jet Fuel Gelato) from CLTVTD at The Emerald Cup. Under his living soil systems, the cultivar transformed into a standout washer boasting deep purple hues, grape-diesel terpenes, and resin production that quickly established it as his flagship.

Award-Winning Hash Collaborations
Ardz’s material became the foundation for celebrated releases with top-tier processors. Masterball Melts produced Grape Gas, Tallymon, and Bluemosa rosin renowned for their clean cures, strong yields, and multiple awards. Meanwhile, Wook Sauce Winery released 6-star jars such as Tallymon and Suco de Papaya. Partnerships with Passion 4 Hashing, Mendoja Farms, and Mountain Organics yielded acclaimed jars like OGZ Thumbprints and Lemon Lava Cake. His breeding work with Mountain Organics includes Acapulco Gold F3 and a suite of AG crosses (Grape Gas × AG, Strawberry Slushee × AG).
