From Esaan Soil to the Global Stage
Born in Phon Bok, Nakhon Phanom, Prempavee came of age among rice fields and smallholder farms. A young mother turned cultivator, she embraced cannabis as Thailand’s ancestral medicine—treated as a sacred plant rather than a crime. Her path reflects a rural tradition that values stewardship, community, and practical wisdom.
The Birth of Prempavee Farm
Based in Phon Sawan, her land operates as a living classroom for regenerative agriculture. No synthetic inputs, no shortcuts—just sun, soil, mulch, and microbial life. Heirloom lines such as Hang Krarork (Squirrel Tail) and Mekhong Classic demonstrate that Thai ganja thrives in balanced ecosystems, with structure and flavor shaped by local terroir.
Preserving Thai Heritage
While global markets chased dessert-forward hybrids, she remained loyal to native DNA. Flowers and seeds are lab-tested and distributed through verified, education-led channels. Each cultivar functions as a living archive, curated to sustain biodiversity and cultural memory rather than to maximize short-term profit.
Guardian of Biodiversity
Working with village elders and researchers, she documents and preserves regional chemotypes before commercial breeding erases them. The mission honors fieldcraft and place—echoing the golden era of 1970s Thai sticks that once defined international expectations for tropical cannabis.
The First Ganja Cup
In 2023, Prempavee launched Thailand’s first global organic cannabis competition, designed to elevate craft over clout. Qualifiers span Thailand, Japan, Mexico, and Jamaica, culminating in a world final on her farm. Categories include landrace, outdoor, indoor, and greenhouse, with judging that weighs ethics, process control, and authenticity alongside aroma and effect.
From Phu Phan to the World
Through Prempavee.Ganja and Prempavee.Cup, she shares soil methods, farm diaries, and cultural context—spotlighting Thai heritage and women’s leadership in cannabis. The platforms connect small growers to a broader conversation about standards, story, and sustainable practice.
Free the Ganja
From Esaan’s red clay to international stages, Prempavee stands as a modern matriarch—cultivator, educator, and archivist—preserving Thai cannabis one seed lot at a time. Prempavee Farm is not chasing fame; it is cultivating freedom through knowledge, provenance, and living soil.
