Atlanta Ignition → Asheville Awakening
Karma’s glass story began in Atlanta in 2010, where he started blowing glass after years of performing as an independent hip-hop artist. Two years of relentless torch work turned experimentation into discipline. Seeking deeper community and artistic evolution, he moved to Asheville, North Carolina, joining one of the country’s most collaborative glass scenes. There, he merged his passions—psychedelia, hip-hop, and glass—into a colorful new philosophy centered on connection and creation.
Hip-Hop Roots
Before the stacks, slides, and Vibesavers, Karma was behind the mic. His foundation in conscious hip-hop and live cyphers shaped his creative rhythm. The flow of glass mirrored the flow of rhyme—tempo, timing, and breath guiding every move on the torch. Each piece, he said, “had to hit like a verse.” This connection between music and glass remains central to his practice.
Torch Ignition
By the early 2010s, Karma was working the torch daily, studying color transitions, fade control, and spiral symmetry. Early pendant and slide experiments became more than objects—they became storytelling tools. Through repetition and refinement, Karma developed his signature: the Karma Stack, a meticulously layered rainbow banding technique that symbolized unity through color.
The Vibesaver Symbol
Karma’s breakout moment came with the creation of the Vibesaver, a rainbow glass ring designed as both art and reminder. “It’s a daily mantra,” he explained—an emblem of gratitude and community. The Vibesaver became the central symbol of the Karma Tribe, a worldwide network of collectors, artists, and fans who saw glass as a medium for mindfulness and unity. To wear one was to join the movement.
Tribe Mentality
The Karma Tribe wasn’t built on hype drops—it grew through connection. From Asheville to Amsterdam, fans traded stories, art, and energy around his releases. Each drop was ritualistic: pendants, marbles, and moodmats accompanied by affirmations and color themes. Karma blurred the line between commerce and ceremony, turning each release into a collective event.
Collaborations in Color
Karma’s rainbow work drew collaboration from industry giants. Partnerships with Banjo Glass, Toro Glass, and Robertson Glass expanded his palette and reach. The Banjo × Karma seminar in Asheville fused live education with improvisational torchwork, while the Toro × Karma tubes pushed rainbow symmetry into fine-art territory. Each collaboration became an exploration of color, balance, and message.
From Torch to Cartel
Using Big Cartel, Karma shifted his focus from galleries to direct connection. Through online drops, he expanded his offerings—slurper caps, terp pearls, and moodmats—all branded extensions of the Vibesaver ethos. Accessibility became part of his art form: not just collectors, but communities could participate in the rainbow movement.
The Karma Show (2019)
His first solo show launched in 2019, complete with custom blotter-art posters, installation lighting, and musical soundscapes. The event captured his fusion of hip-hop, psychedelia, and spirituality—a multi-sensory experience where attendees didn’t just view art; they felt it.
Stacks as Signature
The Karma Stack remains his visual fingerprint. Each ring of color represents rhythm and harmony, layered to mirror life’s balance. What began as technique evolved into symbol: unity, diversity, and energy woven into molten form. Collectors instantly recognize the clean, symmetrical banding as a mark of the artist’s touch.
Artist, Teacher, Connector
Today, Karma continues to teach, collaborate, and uplift. His workshops blend torch instruction with mindfulness, reinforcing that glass is both craft and consciousness. From conscious lyrics to conscious glass, Karma’s work proves that art isn’t just seen—it’s lived.
Spread rainbows. Save vibes. Build tribe.
