Milan to Amsterdam

Before jars of RS11 and Zkittlez defined her path, Exotic Mami was a teenager in Milan rolling pollen-packed spliffs and chasing flavor. Restless and rebellious, her curiosity led her to Amsterdam as a tourist, where she discovered a culture that kept pulling her back. The canals, coffeeshops, and terps became her education, laying the foundation for the journey ahead.

Candy Cuts and Canal Views

By 2019, Exotic Mami was locked into the wave of California exotics. Zkittlez, RS11, Snoopruntz, these strains became an obsession. Yet, while she embraced the candy-flavored surge, her palate always circled back to sharper profiles: sour-leaning cuts and earthy OGs. These flavors, timeless and forceful, reminded her of the roots beneath the hype.

The Emergence of the Exotic Mami

In 2021, Exotic Mami  stepped from customer to curator. Taking the lead at Green Place coffeeshop, she quickly became the face of Amsterdam’s candy-gas scene. Under her direction, Green Place gained a reputation not only for quality but also for strength, attracting smokers from around the world searching for bold flavors.

Transforming Green Place

Her vision reshaped Green Place. Once a traditional Dutch haze stop, it became a hub for Cali-style pressure—menus stacked with over 26 imported strains. Alongside international cultivars, local classics like Rolex OG and Dreamz Gold anchored the selection. Moroccan lamps, jars of ice wax, and an atmosphere built for both tourists and connoisseurs completed the transformation.

Sours, OGs, and Zkittlez

Though podcast appearances linked her closely to Zkittlez and candy terps, Exotic Mami's rotation speaks differently. She continues to honor sour gas, heavy OGs, and fuel-rich hash as staples. Her signature spliffs—light tobacco blended with sharp, nose-stinging terps—deliver an experience that reflects her distinct palate.

Building a Global Audience

Through daily pours, hash features, and behind-the-scenes glimpses, her social presence elevated the coffeeshop to global attention. Smokers from across the world travel to Amsterdam to explore her curated menus, often influenced by what they have already seen on her feed.

Amsterdam’s Green Carpet

Green Place, under Exotic Mami leadership, became more than a coffeeshop. It evolved into a destination where Cali brands like The TenCo, Fiya Farmer, Wizard Trees, and Terps Army found a second home. Her long-term vision looks further—creating a “green carpet” session that unites American and European growers, hash makers, and smokers under a single roof.

Exotic as a Lifestyle

Her journey from Milan’s streets to Amsterdam’s canals transformed passion into identity. Exotic Mami is more than a name—it represents her ethos. Her approach blends candy gas, sour power, and OG heat into a menu designed with culture in mind. Every decision reflects her belief that exotics are not just products, but a lifestyle built on community and authenticity.
