BASEMENT-GROWN BEGINNINGS
Maine Trees started as a cousin’s unused IG handle. In 2015, Maine native Jesse Jordan turned it into a grow diary—bagseed runs, garage lights, and 12-foot outdoor trees. Just a local kid chasing clean smoke, one frosty nug at a time.
FROM SOLO GROW TO 3-MAN WAVE
In late 2021, Jordan linked with longtime friend Mike Barris (B’s Trees) and ops lead Owen Ruh. What started as a diary became a full brand. They scaled into a 150-light craft facility near Portland, with the largest room at 36 lights.
TASTE OVER HYPE
Deep pheno hunts. Room-coded bags. Strain logs and live Aroya dashboards. Small rooms, HPS lights, and flavor-first priorities. Everything gets the hand-trim touch—because details matter.
ENTER: BLUE LOBSTER
Pulled from a Compound Genetics pack (Apples & Bananas × Eye Candy) and first labeled “Facade.” Dark frost, long legs, new-school GDP nose. Mike and Owen made the call and renamed it Blue Lobster—a nod to Maine’s 1-in-2-million crustacean and the unicorn they caught in the dirt.
EAST COAST GETS LOUD
In 2023, Blue Lobster landed hard at the first East Coast Zalympix—winning “Gassiest,” “Best Terps,” and runner-up for “Best Overall.” Maine Trees went from cult local to terp heavyweight overnight.
LOBSTER HITS LOS ANGELES
That summer, the crew touched down at Greenwolf LA and threw a launch party with The Astor Club NYC. Tacos, Maine-grown packs, and Cali heat lit up the drop. Lobster had officially migrated west.
CRAFT MEETS PRECISION
Maine Trees runs HPS rooms guided by real-time Aroya data. But tech’s not the star. They credit success to the team’s work ethic, tight eyes, and palette-first mentality. Flavor farming backed by data. Never mass-produced. Always scaled with care.
NOT JUST A STRAIN. A SIGNAL.
Blue Lobster proved unique terps don’t need hype—they need daylight. Maine on the map. Cold water. Hot pressure. Clean execution.
FOR THE RECORD
Maine Trees is a living ecosystem. Craft-first, flower-forward, rooted in rocky soil. Their mission is Maine, its people, and small businesses. Local collabs prove it. They don’t follow trends—they cultivate community and rarity.
